Our manifesto was inspired by Walter Gropius’s ambition to mass produce customised homes and products through means of modern fabrication in 1923. Almost a century later since Gropius's vision thanks digital manufacturing this vision can finally be transformed into reality.
Behaus has set off on mission to further explore and utilise the potentials of digital fabrication as a makers tool, in a revolutionary shift from mass standardisation to a mass customization of products.
We combine a mixture of very old and new techniques moving from totally hand made through the design to digital manufacture and individual hand assembly to create bespoke products uniquely made for you.
